Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Department of Athletics will introduce a brand new state-of-the-art football scoreboard this fall.
The old scoreboard will be moved to the practice field located directly behind the stadium.
The scoreboard is a Model 3680 Outdoor LED Football Scoreboard and is being built by Electro-Mech Scoreboard Company.
The entire unit includes a four-speaker audio system, a 19mm 288 x 765 pixel LED video display, decorative truss, ID panels and graphics.
The body of the board will consist of matte black, red LEDs, white accent striping and 20mm 16 X 96 electronic team names.
