Pooler, Ga. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Golf Team placed 10th overall out of 16 schools with a 690 (+114) at the Armstrong Atlantic State Pirate Invitational which finished up on Tuesday at the Savannah Quarters Country Club.
UNC Pembroke won the event with a 636 (+60) on the par-72, 5,824-yard course while the Braves' Meghan Moore was the top player in the tournament as she finished with a 153 (+9) over 36 holes.
L-R junior Megan Katsch (Wilmington, N.C.) was the Bears' No. 1 golfer for the tournament as she tied for 15th with a 164 (+20).
Meanwhile, sophomore Grace Brahler (Lawrence, Kan.) tied for 39th with a 172 (+28) while senior Katie Thackerson (Earl, N.C.) finished with a 174 (+30) to tie for 47th overall.
The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Golf Team next competes in the Dana Rader Intercollegiate on March 12 and 13 in Charlotte, N.C.
