Catawba Defeats Lenoir-Rhyne In Women's Tennis

Salisbury, N.C. - The Catawba College Women's Tennis Team (8-9, 1-3) shut out Lenoir-Rhyne University (2-8, 0-5), 9-0, in a South Atlantic Conference match Tuesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center.
With the setback, the Bears saw their two-match winning streak come to an end as well.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to face Brevard in a South Atlantic Conference match at Hickory High School on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Catawba takes on Carson-Newman in a league contest Friday at 2:00 p.m., in Jefferson City, Tenn.
