Lenoir-Rhyne's Cameron Sealey Garners Women's Basketball All-State Accolades

Lenoir-Rhyne University senior Cameron Sealey has been named to the 2011-12 North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association College Division WomenLenoir-Rhyne University senior Cameron Sealey has been named to the 2011-12 North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association College Division Women's Basketball All-State Second Team.

Salisbury, N.C. - Lenoir-Rhyne's Cameron Sealey has been selected to the 2011-12 NCCSIA College Division Women's Basketball All-State Second Team.† NCCSIA is the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association.† Sealey earns all-state honors for the second straight year.

Sealey, a senior guard from Mount Holly, N.C., led Lenoir-Rhyne in scoring average (16.1 ppg), free throw percentage (.795), three-pointers made (41) and steals (45) and guided the Bears to a 19-9 mark this season.

Sealey is a three-time All-South Atlantic Conference honoree (2010-12) who earned first-team all-league accolades the past two seasons (2011-12) and was an NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region selection this year.

Sealey leaves Lenoir-Rhyne ranked sixth in†points scored†(1,473), second in free throw percentage (.796) and 10th in assists (267) on the Bears' career lists.

Sealey started all four years at Lenoir-Rhyne and guided the Bears to a pair of SAC Regular Season Championships and subsequent berths in the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament (2009-10) and one league tournament title in 2009.

Founded in 2002, The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) is comprised of sports information professionals from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and independent institutions from the state of North Carolina.†

The purpose of the organization is to promote collegiate athletics at all schools.† Membership is open to anyone affiliated with a college, university or conference located in North Carolina, and whose area of responsibility lies within sports information.†

NCSSIA selects all-state teams in the University (Division I) and College (Division II, III, NAIA) divisions for menís and womenís basketball, menís and womenís soccer, volleyball, softball and baseball.
