The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball Team moved back into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II Top 25 National Poll this week and are currently ranked No. 23 in the country.The Lenoir-Rhyne Softball Team moved back into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II Top 25 National Poll this week and are currently ranked No. 23 in the country.

Starkville, Miss. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Softball Team moved back into the national rankings this week as the Bears are ranked No. 23 in the latest NFCA NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll. NFCA is the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Lenoir-Rhyne is 37-10 on the season and has won 15 of its last 16 games including eight straight contests.

L-R is also in a three-way tie for first place in the South Atlantic Conference standings with Anderson and Tusculum at 9-3.

Lenoir-Rhyne hosts Brevard (18-19, 7-7) in a league doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Bears Field beginning at 3:00 p.m.

The NFCA NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the eight NCAA regions.
