Banner Elk, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Men's Tennis Team (1-14) concluded its 2012 regular season with a 5-4 setback to Lees-McRae College (5-11) Monday afternoon in an NCAA Division II regional contest.

Senior Graydon Dunn (Charlotte, N.C.) and freshman Jarod Styres (Chapel Hill, N.C.) won at both singles and doubles for the Bears despite the loss.

The duo teamed up at second doubles to defeat Lees-McRae's Pedro De Sousa Nunes (Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, BRAZIL) and Marcelo Tatai (Sao Paulo, BRAZIL) by a score of 8-3.

Lenoir-Rhyne also won at first singles with senior Aroon Khatter (Pune, INDIA) prevailing over De Sousa Nunes, 2-6, 7-5, 1-0.

Lees-McRae will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Tournament beginning on Friday at a site to be determined.
