 The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team returned to the polls this week with a No. 22 national ranking and a No. 3 regional ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. |
Kansas City, Kan. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team returned to the national rankings this week with a No. 22 ranking in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Poll. NSCAA is the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
In addition, the Bears are also ranked third in this week's NSCAA Women's Soccer Southeast Regional Poll.
Lenoir-Rhyne (6-1, 3-0) has won its past three matches and now sits in first place atop the South Atlantic Conference standings.
L-R returns to action on Saturday when the Bears travel to Newberry, S.C., to face Newberry in a South Atlantic Conference match beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Lenoir-Rhyne's next home match is scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m., against Queens at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex.
College of St. Rose, the defending NCAA Division II National Champion, returned to the top spot this week.
