Bears' winning streak now stands at eight matches in a row

Kansas City, Kan. - The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team moved up one place to No. 19 in this week’s NCAA Division II NSCAA/Continental Tire Women's Soccer National Top 25 Poll.
NSCAA is the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Meanwhile, the Bears remain at third in the weekly NSCAA NCAA D-II Southeast Regional Poll.
Lenoir-Rhyne (11-1, 7-0) has won eight consecutive matches and sits alone atop the standings of the South Atlantic Conference.
L-R will put its 17-match conference regular season winning streak dating back to two years on the line in a SAC showdown with Tusculum (11-1-2, 6-0-1) on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 p.m., in Greeneville, Tenn.
A win would guarantee at least a share of a third consecutive conference regular season title for the Bears, who have shut out their last four opponents as well.
Minnesota State-Mankato (12-1-1) takes over the top spot this week in the national rankings.
