Rutherfordton, N.C. - The 2011 Lenoir-Rhyne University Softball Team recently went on a camping trip to Bud Schiele Boy Scout Camp on September 11-12, 2010. It was a weekend full of team bonding that most of the girls will never forget.
After the team members arrived at the camp site and set up their sleeping bags in the cabins, they were on their way to start off the day filled of obstacle courses and team-building activities such as crossing the "raging river", breaking out of "jail" and getting everyone on the "boat".
After lunch, the team, along with two of the Boy Scout Troup Leaders, rock-climbed and repelled on a 60-foot tower and then zip-lined through the campgrounds.
Later that night, they cooked dinner over an open fire and wrapped the night with roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories.
