Junior Dawon Millwood (Hixson, Tenn.) fell to 7-3 on the year after allowing just two unearned runs to go along with five strikeouts.
Lenoir-Rhyne 11, Young Harris 0 (five innings)
The Bears run-ruled the Mountain Lions thanks to junior catcher Sarah Atkins (Newport News, Va.), who hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and finished with seven runs batted in to lead Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.
Sophomore Megan Laxton (Taylorsville, N.C.) allowed just one hit while striking out three batters in improving to 2-1 on the year.
Lenoir-Rhyne 3, Coker 2
The Bears held on to beat the Cobras thanks to Millwood, who allowed just one run over six and one-third innings pitched. Millwood (8-3) struck out five in earning the victory Saturday.
L-R scored all three runs in the second inning including junior first baseman Brittany Davidson's (Fort Defiance, Va.) home run to lead off the frame.

L-R hit three round-trippers in a run-ruled victory over the Bulldogs Sunday morning.
The Bears scored at least two runs in every frame including four in the first inning.
Freshman third baseman Haily Jarman (Wadesboro, N.C.) hit a two-run home run in the second inning, Atkins added a two-run round-tripper in the third and junior second baseman Carlee Carpenter (Newton, N.C.) launched a grand slam in the fourth frame.
Junior Lauren Harris (Yadkinville, N.C.) improved to 7-1 on the season after being credited with the win for the Bears.

Millwood threw a no-hitter as the Bears finished the tournament with four straight wins. Millwood (9-3) faced one batter over the minimum to go along with five strikeouts Sunday afternoon.
The game's lone run came in the bottom of the third inning on Carpenter's RBI single.
Lenoir-Rhyne travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., to face Winston-Salem State in a doubleheader Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m. L-R hosts Limestone in a doubleheader at home on Thursday at 3 p.m.
