Hickory, N.C.-- Lisa Boernigen breaks the school record in the 100 IM on Saturday afternoon but the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Swimming Team falls to No. 1 Queens 215-44 inside Shuford Pool.

Boernigen finished second with a time of 1:00.02 to set the new record. Boernigen later in the evening had a 4th place finish in the 100 Back.

Isabelle Hurd and Abigail Chapman had a fourth and fifth place finish respectively in the 100 Breast as well during the event. 

Bears will now turn their attention to the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship. The four day event will began on Thursday February 10th in Charlotte, N.C.
