Brevard, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Tennis Team (0-9, 0-7) dropped a South Atlantic Conference match to Brevard (3-9, 1-3), 6-3, Thursday afternoon at the McCoy Tennis Complex.

L-R did prevail at second doubles behind sophomore Maggie Brown (Cranford, N.J.) and junior Lacey Lapp (Maitland, Fla.).

The duo defeated Brevard's Elise Labus (Dunwoody, Ga.) and Katie Ouellette (Ormond, Fla.) by a score of 8-3.

Lenoir-Rhyne remains on the road on Saturday when it takes on Tusculum in a league contest in Greeneville, Tenn., beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Brevard hosts Lincoln Memorial in conference?action?next Tuesday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
