Brevard, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Football Team (3-7, 3-3) rallied from a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat Brevard (1-9, 0-6), 21-14, Saturday afternoon in a South Atlantic Conference game at Brevard Memorial Stadium.

Bradley Jones (Virginia Beach, Va.) scored the game-winning touchdown from 19 yards out on the ground with 6:54 left in the contest as the Bears snapped a four-game losing streak.
Lenoir-Rhyne scored all 21 points in the fourth quarter with touchdowns on three consecutive drives and defeated Brevard for the ninth time in 10 tries.
The Bears finally got on the scoreboard when redshirt freshman running back
Nelson Brown (Salisbury, Md.) scored on a nine-yard run on the first play of the final period before the visitors tied the score at 14 when redshirt freshman quarterback
Jarrod Kellar (Shinnston, W.Va.) found senior wide receiver
Patrick Rendleman (Lincolnton, N.C.) for a 26-yard scoring pass.
Lenoir-Rhyne's second touchdown – at the 13:26 mark of the fourth quarter – came off a fumble by Brevard at its own 16-yard line. Lenoir-Rhyne senior defensive back
Rodney Singleton (Hawthorne, Fla.) was credited with the fumble recovery.
Jones and Brown finished with 88 and 87 yards on the ground, respectively, while Kellar had 164 yards through the air. On defense, Lenoir-Rhyne limited Brevard to just 235 yards of total offense including 88 yards after intermission. Lenoir-Rhyne redshirt freshman linebacker

Tanner Robinson (Melbourne, Fla.) both finished with nine tackles in the victory.
Brevard, losers of six straight contests, received touchdown runs from quarterback Bubba Craven (Pleasant Garden, N.C.) and Jarkevius Hopkins (Mount Holly, N.C.). Hopkins led the ground game with 83 yards.
Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to host Catawba in the regular season finale as part of Senior Day next Saturday, November 12, at Moretz Stadium. The kickoff for the South Atlantic Conference game is set for 2:00 p.m. Brevard faces Mars Hill Saturday on the road beginning at 1:00 p.m.
