Brevard, N.C. – For the second straight game, the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team (9-8, 8-4) rallied from a large first-half deficit on the road to earn a victory with a 75-70 triumph over Brevard (2-16, 0-12) Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Gymnasium in a South Atlantic Conference contest.
Lenoir-Rhyne senior guard Darrion Evans (Morganton, N.C.) led the way with a team-high 22 points in addition to seven treys as the Bears rallied from a 24-8 deficit midway through the first half to earn their third straight win.

Reed Lucas (Greensboro, N.C.) added 14 points and senior forward JacQues Chambers (Maysville, N.C.) put together his sixth double-double of the season – 11 points and 10 rebounds – as the Bears swept the season series from the Tornados.
Stevie Williams (High Point, N.C.) led all scorers with 24 points for Brevard, who continues to search for its first league win of the year. The Tornados also lost their sixth straight contest.
Lenoir-Rhyne connected for 16 three-pointers in the game and moved back over .500 on the season for the first time since the middle of November.
In the next round of South Atlantic Conference Regular Season contests on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m., Lenoir-Rhyne returns home to host Wingate while Brevard travels to Greeneville, Tenn., to take on Tusculum.
