Hartsville, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team (1-5, 0-2) suffered an 88-75 setback to Coker (3-4, 1-0) Wednesday night at the DeLoach Center in a South Atlantic Conference game.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne was led by junior guard
Cory Thomas (Louisville, Ky.), who scored a game-high 24 points on nine-of-14 shooting off the bench. Senior guard
Jarvis Calhoun (Birmingham, Ala.) added 14 points and hit four three-pointers for the Bears.
• Coker, which trailed by a 37-35 score at halftime, had five players in double figures including Marquis Green (Darlington, S.C.) with 19 points.
• The Cobras scored 53 points after intermission and was sparked by their performance at the charity stripe. Coker hit all 16 free throw attempts in the second half and finished 22-of-26 from the line. LR, meanwhile, connected on nine-of-11 free throw attempts.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Thomas, who leads the team in scoring, upped his average on the year to 15.7 points per outing.

Bertrand Awana (Yaounde, CAMEROON) had four blocks on the night, increasing his league-leading total to 18.
