Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team (8-10, 6-6) bounced back with an 83-72 victory over Coker (8-11, 5-6) Wednesday night in a South Atlantic Conference game at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Lenoir-Rhyne junior guard
Djibril Diallo (Conakry, GUINEA) led all scorers with 21 points while redshirt freshman guard
Darius Simmons (Raleigh, N.C.) and junior forward
Emmanuel Wembi (Charlotte, N.C.) added 11 points each in the victory.
• Coker was led by Donte Samuels (Rocky Mount, N.C.), who totaled 20 points and went eight-for-eight from the charity stripe in the losing effort.
• Lenoir-Rhyne led by as many as 15 points – 66-51 with 8:42 remaining in the contest – and held a 35-31 advantage on the boards.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• The two teams combined for 65 free throw attempts in the contest while the Bears avenged an earlier loss to the Cobras. Lenoir-Rhyne also snapped a two-game losing streak.
