Hickory, N.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team lost their third straight game and their fourth overall at home while falling to the Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
• Lenoir-Rhyne scored an equalizer with a goal from senior Claire Niebergall (Springfield, Ill.) in the 32nd minute of the first half.
• The Bears outshot the Railsplitters, 14-12 (9-7 on goal). The visiting team had more corner kick opportunities than LR, 4-3.

Loren Sterling fell to 7-5-1, but managed to grab five saves off of LMU's shots. Anne-Marie O'Connell added five saves while improving her record in goal to 8-3.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Niebergall added her second goal of the season despite playing on the defensive end of the field.
• This marks the third straight loss for the Bears, and their home record falls to 1-4 on the year.

LR will stay at home for their next match, honoring seniors on Wednesday night as they take on Catawba at 7:30 p.m. The Railsplitters will return home in preparation for a home South Atlantic Conference match with the Tusculum University Pioneers on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
