STATS OF THE MATCH:
• The Eagles got on the board in the seventh minute when LR was called for a foul in the box. Magda Mosengo converted the ensuing PK for the game-winner.
• The Bears held Carson-Newman to their second-lowest goal output of the season. The Eagles were shutout by Wet Florida in their season opener.
• Shots were relatively even with C-N holding a slight 16-11 edge.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• After losing just once last season, the Eagles entered tonight's match with a pair of early season setbacks.
• The Bears were the only team not to lose to the Eagles in the regular season, playing to a 2-2 draw in Tennessee on September 20.
• This game is just the second home match for the Bears so far this young season.
