No. 8 LR Upset by Wingate 4-0 in NCAA Tournament

Hickory, N.C.-- No. 8 Women's Soccer was shutout by Wingate 4-0 Friday evening in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast regional tournament.

STATS OF THE MATCH: 
  • Despite holding a 15-7 advantage in shots the Bears offense was stifled. 
  • Taylor Krakower secured the game for Wingate scoring to open and close the game in the 9th and 77th minutes. 
  • LR held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks as well.
