GREEENEVILLE, Tenn. - After giving up the first goal of the game, the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team scored the final five goals unanswered to take a convincing 5-1 road conference win at Tusculum on Sunday afternoon.
Leonie Proessl and
Ria Acton each had two goals for the Bears, who win their third straight game and remain alone in second place in the SAC by half a game behind Catawba.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Acton and Proessl each had two goals for the Bears. They share the team lead with nine goals this season, which is tied for 3rd in the SAC. Acton also assisted on Proessl's first goal, which was a beautfiul bicycle kick after a perfect centering pass from Acton.
- Tusculum scored the first goal of the game off a corner kick. Grayson Cameron made two great saves before the third time was finally the charm for the Pioneers.
- Acton's goal immediately followed the Tusculum goal. Her second goal was on a free kick late in the game.
- Evan O'Leary scored the 5th goal for the Bears. Proessl assisted on her goal, which was her 8th of the season.
- Tusculum had eight shots in the game, all of which were on goal. Cameron's seven saves is a season-high.
- LR has outscored opponents 10-1 in their last two games.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The 10 goals in the previous two games are the most LR has scored in a two game stretch since 2019.
- Acton also has six assists on the year, and her 24 points leads the team.
- Kara Gavaghan and Madi Kyle assisted on Proessl's second goal.
- LR and Catawba are the only teams in the SAC with two players in the top five in scoring.
