STATS AND INFO:
- The Bears missed a chance to improve to 3-0 in SAC play for the first time since the 2007-08 season
- LR hit just 26.3 percent from long range
- This is the first meeting between these two teams as SAC opponents as this game was eventually cancelled twice last year
- The 54 points ties the lowest point total for LR since scoring 49 against King in 2017. The Bears also scored 54 at Carson-Newman last year and at Tusculum in 2019.
FIRST HALF:
- The Bears were cold in the first half, shooting just 10-of-30 from the field and 4-of-15 from long range

Nas Tyson led LR with 10 first half points and went 4-of-6 from the field but the Bears trailed 28-26 at the half
- Limestone hit at 41.7 percent and held a slight 19-17 advantage on the boards
- The game was tied on five occasions in the first half with neither team holding a lead larger than five points
SECOND HALF:
- Limestone started out the second half on a 15-6 run to extend their lead to 43-32 at the 13:20 mark of the second half
- After LR cut the deficit back to single digits, the Saints used an 11-2 spurt to push it back to 58-40 on a dunk from Ben Gahlert
- Limestone eventually pushed the lead to as much as 21 in the second half before a late LR run
- The Bears would shoot 44 percent from the field in the second half but hit just one 3-pointer
- Limestone hit 48.5 percent from the floor and knocked down five triples

- Tyson would finish with 13 points and added three rebounds and two assists

NOTABLE SAINTS:
- Ayo Dada had a game-high 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting
- Gahlert notched a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds to go with four assists
- Isayah Owens (15 points) and Richard Nunez (10 points) also scored in double figures for the hosts
