HICKORY, N.C.  – Lenoir-Rhyne broke a nine-game losing streak with a convincing win over UVA Wise on Wednesday evening. The Bears poured in a season-high 100 points and only committed three turnovers on the night in the impressive victory.

- Jalen Johnson's made 3-pointer in the first half ran the Bears streak to 192 straight games with a made triple
- The Bears topped 100 points for the first time since beating Mars Hill 107-98 on Feb. 26, 2020
- LR has 24 assists and just three turnovers on the night
- This is the 84^th all-time game that Lenoir-Rhyne has reached triple digits in the scoring column and the ninth under Everick Sullivan

-  Nas Tyson led all scorers with 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting and T.J. Nesmith had 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting
- The Bears ended the opening 20 minutes on an 11-2 run to take their largest halftime lead of the season.
- LR made 10 of their final 11 field goal attempts
- 11 different players saw action and LR held UVA Wise to 33.3 percent shooting
- The Bears outscored Wise 30-8 in the paint

SECOND HALF:
- The Bears kept the foot on the gas with a 48-point second half thanks to 19 of 36 shooting
-  LR buried six three pointers in the second half and hit on 50 percent of their long range attempts
-  LR added 26 more points in the paint in the second half

ABOUT THE BEARS:
- Four players finished in double figures led by 17 from Nesmith and 15 from Tyson
- Jalen Johnson and Kevin Kangu each had 12 points
- Tyson McClain had a career-high six assists and didn't turn the ball over

NOTABLE CAVALIERS:
- Bradley Dean led all scorers with 20 points and went 7 of 16 from the field
- Joel Pettiford finished with a double-double, notching 19 points and 13 boards
- Isaiah Mcamis had 11 points
