HARROGATE, TENN. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball Team saw its losing streak reach three straight in a tough loss at Lincoln Memorial on Saturday afternoon. The Bears were held to a season-low 57 points and fall for the 14th straight time at B. Frank Turner Arena.

STATS OF THE FIRST HALF:
- A 3-pointer by Jaquias Franklin at the 17:17 mark gave Lenoir-Rhyne an 8-7 lead. Just over two minutes later, Franklin would hit another three to put the Bears up 11-10.
- The Bears held a high-powered Lincoln Memorial offense to just 10 points in the first 8:30 of the first half before the Railsplitters started to get hot.
- Franklin's jumper at the 5:03 mark made the LMU lead 24-23. However, from that point on LMU would outscore LR 14-2 in the final five minutes of the half.
- The Bears would shoot 10 of 30 in the first half but did convert four of nine 3-pointers.
- LMU was held to 47 percent shooting and just 4-of-15 from deep.
STATS OF THE SECOND HALF:
- After closing out the first half on a 14-2 run, LMU would outscore the Bears 48-32 in the second half. From the 5:03 mark of the first half on, the Railsplitters outscored LR 62-34.
- LMU shot 16 of 28 from the field, converting at a 57.1 percent clip. For the game, LMU shot 51.6 percent.
- This is the third straight opponent to shoot over 57 percent in the second half against LR.
- Martez Brown would finish the game with 14 points and 18 rebounds and went 6-of-7 from the field.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The last win by an LR team at Lincoln Memorial was a narrow 75-73 victory on Feb. 13, 2010.
- Franklin finished with 17 points and went 6-of-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from long range.
- LR has had more success than any SAC team against LMU in the past five years, beating the Railsplitters three times since 2019 - all at LR.
- The Bears only committed 10 turnovers in the game but were out rebounded 44-29.
- LMU held a 44-18 advantage in points in the paint.
- The Bears are holding the eighth seed in the league standings as Tusculum jumped past them with a win over Catawba today.
