HICKORY, N.C.-- Evan O'Leary scored a second half goal of the season as the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer team tied Limestone 1-1 on Saturday afternoon. O'Leary now has a point in 11th straight games. The Bears are tied with Catawba at the top of the SAC standing with 23 points. .

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The Bears found themselves down early as the Lucia Hidalgo scored a goal in the 6th minute to quickly put the Saints up 1-0.
- LR had 12 shots in the first half but the Saints held the Bears off the scoreboard.
- Evan O'Leary then scored off her own corner kick after the ball bounced to Carola Busquets and Busquets passed it to O'Leary, who kicked it high and to the far post for the equalizer.
- Riley Miller made two saves in goal for the Bears while Rosemary Elliott made eight saves for the Saints.
- LR doubled up the Saints in shots, 22-11, including holding a 9-4 edge in shots-on-goal.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This was the first tie between these teams since 2006, a span of fourteen games.
