HICKORY, NC - Averie Dale and Kayli Cleaver have been named AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans. This comes after one of the most successful seasons in Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball history, which saw the Bears go 25-7 and qualify for their seventh NCAA Tournament Appearance.

Cleaver led the Bears with 332 total kills, hitting it a .263 clip. She notched 2.99 kills per set and was tops on the team with 371.5 total points. Defensively Cleaver had 72.0 blocks, helping the Bears become one of the top blocking teams in the SAC. She was one of three Bears to play in all 111 sets this season. In addition to her All-American honor, Cleaver was also named to the AVCA All-Region First Team and the All-SAC First Team. 

A Hickory native, Dale was all over the court this season. She led the team with 121 total blocks at a rate of 1.10 blocks per set, tied for first with 35 aces, was third with 216 kills at a team leading .316 hitting %, and finished with 107 digs. She was a two-time SAC Defensive Player of the Week and was named to the AVCA All-Southeast Region Honorable Mention team and was a All-SAC First Team honoree.
