HARROGATE, TENN.-- For the second straight game, the Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team left things very late. On Saturday, The Bears used a late Kara Gavaghan goal in the 80th minute to tie Lincoln Memorial 1-1. The Bears ended their three-game, season opening road trip with a 1-0-2 record after taking down UNC Pemborke 4-1 and drawing with #12 Lee 1-1.

• For the second straight game, the Bears went into halftime scoreless as neither team could find the back of the net. 
• The Railsplitters found the scoreboard first in the 77th minute with a goal from Victoria Filsner, her first of the year.
• Kara Gavaghan headed in a free kick from Evan O'Leary in the 81st minute to equalize.
• After the Gavaghan's goal neither team registered a shot on goal.
• The Bears out-shot Lincoln Memorial 11-6 in the first half and 17-12 for the game.
