GREENEVILLE, TN - The Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball team picked up a convincing 3-0 win at Tusculum on Friday evening.
The Bears were led by the defensive heroics of
Hadley Prince, who set a new 3-set career high with 27 digs, only two away from her Lenoir-Rhyne career high.

STORY OF THE MATCH:
- The Bears attempted to pull away in the opening set but the Pioneers kept it close, cutting it to 24-23.
- Averie Dale had a solo block to seal the set one win and prevent it from becoming a marathon like last week's 38-36 first set.
- Up 9-5 in set two, an Emmie Modlin kill ignited a 13-1 Lenoir-Rhyne run to pull away.
- Lenoir-Rhyne used three blocks from Dale to jump out to a 7-1 lead in the third set.
- Tusculum fought back, going on a 5-0 run to cut the lead to one.
- A 15-3 run from Lenoir-Rhyne silenced any chance of a Pioneers comeback.
- Emmaleigh Allen nearly had a double-double with 10 kills and nine digs.
- Averie Dale led with five blocks while Sydney Karjala and Alicia Barbarito each had 17 assists.
- Hadley Prince was tops with 27 digs while Addison Vary had 12.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Hadley Prince has 55 digs in two games against Tusculum.
- Kayli Cleaver is now eight kills away from 1000 on her career.
