HICKORY, N.C. - Head coach Brent Owen and the #19 ranked Lenoir-Rhyne men's basketball team are set to host the Lenoir-Rhyne Classic this weekend in Hickory. 

This tournament will feature Lenoir-Rhyne (2-2), Wingate (2-0), West Virginia State (2-0) and Lee (1-0). This field is strong as every team has made an NCAA tournament appearance in the previous two years. 

Weekend Schedule:

• Friday, Nov. 21 - Wingate vs. Lee - 5 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 21 - Lenoir-Rhyne vs. West Virginia State - 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 22 - Wingate vs. West Virginia State - 2 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 22 - Lenoir-Rhyne vs. Lee - 4 p.m.

The highlight of the weekend will be the unveiling of the 2025 NCAA Elite Eight Banner, which will take place prior to the Bears' Friday night game vs. WVSU. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets ahead of time at lrbears.com/tickets.
