HICKORY, N.C. - Head coach
Brent Owen and the Lenoir-Rhyne men's basketball team will take on Johnson C. Smith tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. in front of a sellout Shuford Arena crowd comprised of over 1,300 kids from local schools in the Unifour community.
This game is considered sold out and there will be no tickets available at the door. Bears club members who have season tickets will still have their spots available behind the bench side.
The No. 19 ranked Bears, who ranked 23rd in average attendance last season, are already off to a strong 4-2 start and are riding a four-game winning streak. Lenoir-Rhyne has scored over 100 points in each of their previous three games, tying a school record set in 1955.
Johnson C. Smith will look to run with the Bears, as they are averaging 96.0 ppg, compared to 93.0 for the home side. The Golden Bulls come in with a record of 2-1, winning their previous two games 119-75 over VU-Lynchburg and 97-80 over Morris (S.C.).
