HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Basketball team won its eighth straight game on Saturday night, defeating a pesky Emory & Henry squad 95-67.
Bears had five players in double digits with
Conrad Luczynski leading the way with 19 points. Luczynski added 13 rebounds and five blocks on the night.Â

STORY OF THE GAME:
- The game saw seven ties seven lead changes in the first half as the Wasps led for 15:52 in that opening half.
- A late Bear run in the first half gave the Bears a 46-41 lead at the break.
- 37 of the 41 first half points from the Wasps came from the duo of Jackson Crawford and Korbin Dixon.Â
- Bears hit 12 of 13 free throws in the opening half.
- A Tyler Burraston three pointer with 7:59 left give the Bears their biggest lead of the game at 79-64.
- The Wasps made a late push and cut the lead to four in the final minute, but free throws by Sam Martin and Akili Evans iced the game.Â
STATSÂ OF THE GAME:
- The Bears balanced scoring continued tonight as five players were in double digits, led by 19 from Conrad Luczynski.Â
- LR doubled up the Wasps in the paint with 42-20 advantage.
- Luczynski had his fourth double-double of the season with 13 rebounds to go along with his 19 points.Â
- Akili Evans and Blessin Kimble combined for a perfect 13-13 from the free throw line.
- Lenoir-Rhyne out rebounded the Wasps 48-29, including 20 offensive rebounds.Â
- Crawford lead the Wasps with 29 points on 8-16 shooting.Â

- The Bears are now 6-0 all-time against the Wasps.Â
- The win is the Bears ninth straight home win.Â
