MELBOURNE, FL - Lenoir-Rhyne could see another 1-0 victory in their sights on Saturday, but two goals in the final eight minutes for Florida Tech spoiled the Bears' magical run.
The Bears finish their season with a 13-5-3 record and remain the only SAC school since 2017 to win a women's soccer regional, taking home three in that time span.

STORY OF THE GAME:
- The Florida heat affected the Bears in the first half as they managed only two shots.
- Florida Tech countered with 15 shots, seven of which were saved by Riley Miller.
- Lenoir-Rhyne put some pressure on in the second half, as a rocket from Lucia Hidalgo soared just wide in the 54th minute.
- Katie Durham scored in the 66th minute off a pass from Kennedy Flowers that was deflected by the goalie.
- The Panthers countered in the 83rd minute with a solo goal from Alice Mottershead.
- Just three minutes later Florida Tech would book their ticket to Colorado with a goal from Lauryn Wood.
