HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne baseball team has officially released their 2026 schedule. This year's slate features 31 games in Hickory and 19 on the road.
Coming off a Southeast Regional Championship and national semi-final appearance, the Bears will look to keep things rolling when they open their season with a four game home series against Pittsburgh at Johnston on January 30th - February 1st. Another big non-conference series looms when Columbus State comes to town for a three-game series on February 6th - 8th.
Lenoir-Rhyne opens conference play at home against Wingate on February 13th - 14th. The Bears' most important matchup early on will be on February 27th - 28th, when they play host to the Catawba Indians, who Lenoir-Rhyne defeated in last year's Super Regional. March features 12 home games, including three conference series against Anderson, UVA Wise, and Coker. The Bears close out the regular season with a three-game home series against Lincoln Memorial on April 24th - 25th.
The South Atlantic Conference Tournament will take place at the campus sites of the top two seeds on May 1st - 3rd. The winner's of the two brackets will face off against each other in a best-of-three showdown at McCrary Park in Asheboro, N.C., on May 8th - 9th.
