Track & Field releases 2026 schedule

HICKORY, N.C. - Director of Track & Field Bob Braman and the Lenoir-Rhyne men's and women's track & field programs have released their 2026 schedules. 

The indoor portion of the schedule begins with three races at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., with the next one set to take place on Saturday, January 17th. The month of February brings some high profile meets as the Bears travel to South Carolina (2x), Clemson, and VMI. The final regular season indoor meet the year will be the JDL Last Chance Invitational. The SAC Indoor Championships will take place at JDL on February 28th - March 1st and the NCAA Indoor Championships will be on March 12th - 14th in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The outdoor season opens on March 21st at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge at High Point, N.C. Late march and early April see the Bears had to Raleigh and Wingate for the Raleigh Relay and Wingate Invitational. The annual Southside Power & Fitness Invitational, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne at the Irwin Track, will be on April 10th - 11th. The teams will split on April 17th - 18th, going to either the Wake Forest Invite or the Aggie Invitational. The SAC Outdoor Championships will be in Emory, Virginia, on April 29th - 30th. Lenoir-Rhyne is set to host the LR Last Chance meet on May 9th - 10th before the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Emporia, Kansas, on May 21st - 23rd.
