HICKORY, N.C. - Goals from
Chayla McDaniel and
Ava Hartman led Lenoir-Rhyne to a big 2-1 win over Anderson on senior day.
Tied at 1-1, Hartman scored on a rocket from 18 yards out to send the Bears to victory.

- Chayla McDaniel scored the first goal of her career on a header off a corner kick from Skylar Noll in the eighth minute of the game.
- The Bears controlled the first half and didn't allow a single Anderson shot.
- Despite a 13-0 shot disparity, the Bears went into the half ahead just 1-0.
- Six minute into the second half Anderson's Jazel DeOliveira scored on the Trojan's first shot of the game.
- Just a few minutes later Ava Hartman found herself open on top of the 18 and fired a shot to the upper 90, her first goal of the year.
- Anderson had a few late chances, but Riley Miller made some late saves to keep the game in LR's hands.

- Lenoir-Rhyne out-shot Anderson 21-12 and held an 8-3 edge in shots-on-goal.
- Riley Miller made two saves in her first start of the year.
