Bears pick up 21-20 road victory at Emory & Henry

EMORY, VA - Another big day from Shermon Davis and a late scoop and score from Xavier Gunn propelled Lenoir-Rhyne to a 21-20 win on the road at Emory & Henry on Saturday.

Fueled by two 60+ yard touchdown runs, Davis finished with 208 rushing yards, his second game over 200 yards this season.

"Loved the finish! Defense was outstanding after being put in bad spots," said head coach Doug Socha. "Tye was aggressive in the punt return game and it paid off. Offense found a way to finish at the end."
