HICKORY, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's tennis team opened the Spring portion of their season with a strong 6-1 victory over Francis Marion. Lenoir-Rhyne secured the doubles victory 2-1 and went on to win five of six singles matches to grab the win.

The Bears will be back at home on Tuesday as they are set to face off against Converse. The Valkaries have yet to play an official match this Spring, falling 7-0 to Wofford in exhibition play last Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
