Hickory, N.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's tennis team continued their strong start to the season with a gritty win over Carson-Newman to improve to 4-0 on the year and 2-0 in conference play.
After securing the doubles point, the Bears had 3 singles wins, highlighted by a clutch performance from
Claudia Orsini. Orsini battled through two tie-breakers and saved match point at 5-6 to win it for the Bears.
