NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Lenoir-Rhyne women's soccer team found their rhythm on Saturday, taking down Newberry 4-0 on the road.
Setting the tone was
Katie Durham, who's first half brace propelled the Bears to victory.

- Lenoir-Rhyne opened up a 2-0 lead after two goals from Katie Durham in a three minute stretch early in the first half.
- Newberry's first shot of the game came in the 24th minute and was saved by Madalyn Wright.
- Aya Elshafi netted the first goal of her career off a pass from Ingrid Krakhellen in the 33rd minute, sending the Bears into the break with a 3-0 lead.
- The Bears put up three shots in the second half before Alexis Cagno netted her fourth goal of the season.

- The Bears out shot the Wolves 17-3 and held a 9-2 edge in shots-on-goal.
- Lenoir-Rhyne failed to give up a corner kick while taking 10 of their own.
