Biography

Senior (2020-21): Stepped into the starting lineup for all four spring contests and finished fifth on the team with 22 total tackles . . . his 12 solo tackles ranked fourth on the team . . . Joseph also had a pair of tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on the season while scoring a defensive touchdown against Wingate.

Junior (2019): Played in 13 games for LR . . . finished with 26 total tackles, including 14 solo stops . . . had a forced fumble against Tusculum . . . in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs, Joseph blocked two punts with one being recovered for a touchdown. 

Sophomore (2018): Played in 12 games for the Bears . . . finished the season with 10 total tackles, including seven solo stops. 

Freshman (2017):  Played in six games for the Bears. Totaled three solo tackles. 

High School: Attended Glynn Academy. Lettered four years in both baseball and football. Earned Player of the Year in football for 2016. Earned All-Region in football 2014 & 2015. Earned baseball All-Region for 2016 & 2017.

Personal: Preston is from Brunswick, Georgia. Born May 6, 1999, to Kurt and Nicole Joseph.
