Junior (2018): Named South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week in a win over Tusculum where he totaled 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and added a forced fumble . . . had a monster effort in a win at Wingate where he had 13 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks . . . played all 14 games and was fifth on the team with 73 total tackles, including 30 solo . . . had nine tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks . . . added an interception, pass breakup, fumble recovery, two forced fumbles and seven quarterback hurries. 

Sophomore (2017): Played in 10 games for the Bears. Totaled 44 tackles, including 19 solo and 25 assisted. 

Freshman (2016):  Played in 10 games for the Bears. Finished second on the team in total tackles with 73, 23 solo and 50 assisted, 5.0 TFL, third on the team with 2.0 sacks for 18 yards for loss, five PBU’s and three QBH’s.

High School: Attended Mt. Pleasant High School. Was a four-year letterman in football. Is the school’s career tackles record holder with 446. Was a three-year All-Conference selection and 2015 Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Clayton is from Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. Born November 21, 1997, to Don and Lori Horn.
