Ramseur started his career at the University of North Carolina – leading the Tar Heels to a pair of bowl games – before finishing his career at Mars Hill.  Ramseur was a standout at local Maiden (N.C.) High School, earning all-conference and all-region honors and played in the Shrine Bowl.
Ramseur and his wife, Angie, are the proud parents of two children.
