Parker Richardson

Parker Richardson begins his first year as Lenoir-Rhyne’s Director of Football Operations.
 
In his role, Richardson will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day organizational and operational aspects of the LR football program, including the management of team travel, equipment and operational budget. He will also assist with coaching Special Teams.
 
Richardson came to Lenoir-Rhyne after spending the previous four years (2015-19) as Vice President of Special Projects at Colson Park Capital in Hickory, N.C. He also spent time as an assistant football coach at nearby Northview Middle School in 2018.
 
Before Colson Park Capital, Richardson worked within the athletic department at the University of South Carolina from 2013 to 2015. He spent his final two years (2014-15) at USC as an event management and facility operation assistant after serving as liaison for football alumni in the office of athletic development in 2013.
 
In 2012, Richardson was Director of Football Operations at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss, where he oversaw and coordinated all team travel and logistics.
 
Richardson joined the Southern Miss staff after spending two years (2010-2011) at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C., in the same role. During his time at Coastal Carolina, Richardson managed the day-to-day operations of the football program while also assisting with Specialists during practice. He helped guide the Chanticleers to their fourth Big South Conference title in school history in 2010 with a 5-1 league record.
 
He also spent four years (2006-09) as an assistant football coach at South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, N.C.
 
Richardson earned his bachelor of science in parks, recreation, tourism and management from Clemson University in 2005 before completing his master of science in leadership and sports management from Duquesne University in 2012.
 
A native of Hickory, N.C., Richardson and his wife Rebecca have two children: Thomas and Henley Ann.
