Shaw Pomianowski enters his third year as the Assistant Wide Receivers Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne.
During his first two years in Hickory the Lenoir-Rhyne football team has posted a 16-8 record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA DII Playoffs in 2024. Pomianowski has seen three wide receiver All-Conference honors, with two coming from Songa Yates and one from Adonis McDaniel. In 2025, McDaniel became just the sixth Bear in program history to reach the 1000 receiving yards mark in a single season, and the first since 2018. Yates finished his career as one of the most prolific receivers in program history, ranking third in career receptions, fourth in receiving touchdowns, and fifth in receiving yards. Helped in part by prolific receivers, the Lenoir-Rhyne offense set the program's single season passing yards record in 2024 and finished fourth in 2025.
