Biography

Senior (2020-21): Played in one game for the Bears before an injury on the last play of the game against Newberry ended his spring season . . . finished that contest with four total tackles and 0.5 tackle for loss while adding a QB hurry.

Junior (2019): Named to the First Team All-South Atlantic Conference and Second Team All-Region . . . Louba trailed only National Defensive Player of the Year Jaquan Artis on the team in tackles for loss (16) and sacks (11) . . . added nine quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles and blocked a field goal . . . had more than one sack in a game on five different occasions. 

Sophomore (2018): Named First Team All-South Atlantic Conference . . .  Played in all 14 games . . . was second among D-Linemen with 62 total tackles . . . had 11 tackles for loss and was third on the team with 7.5 sacks . . . added six quarterback hurries and a fumble forced and a fumble recovery . . . had at least 0.5 sack in seven of the first eight games of the season . . . had 1.5 sacks against North Greenville and Wingate. 

Freshman (2017):  Played in 10 games for the Bears. Recorded 23 tackles, including eight solo and 15 assisted. 

High School: Attended Hickory Ridge High School. Lettered three times in football and twice in wrestling. Earned All-Conference and All-State honors.

Personal: Dan is from Harrisburg, North Carolina. Born July 16, 1999, to Rose Mbemba.
