2022: In his first season at LR, Black started and played in nine games . . . finished the year with 17 tackles and five tackles for loss with three QB hurries . . . had a half-sack in his first game with the Bears, a win over Virginia St. 

2021 (at Barton): Played as a redshirt freshman and finished the season with nine sacks in 11 games played . . . had 41 total tackles and 15.5 tackles for loss to go with a forced fumble . . . set a career-high with 3.5 sacks against Erskine on 9/11 . . . had 1.5 sacks against Limestone in a 45-7 victory on 9/25 . . . had six total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in a win over Carson-Newman on 10/2 . . . added a sack against Wingate and a pair of sacks against Tusculum. 

2020-21 (at Barton): Played in three games in the shortened COVID season, registered four total tackles in three games . . . had two tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks in three games played.
