RS Junior (2019-20): Named Honorable Mention All-Confernence performer . . . named SAC Player of the Week once . . . ended the season just 83 points shy of 1,000 for his career . . . had three games with at least 30 points and didn't miss more than six shots in any of those three games . . . averaged 18.0 points per game and shot 83.3 percent from the free throw line. 

RS-Sophomore (2018-19): Broke the program record for best 3-point shooting percentage by knocking down 56.5 percent of his long range attempts (35-for-62) . . . shot 52.5 percent from the field and averaged 7.7 points per game in 15.5 minutes per game . . . was named South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week on Feb. 4 after a pair of games that saw him score 27 points in 29 minutes . . . in LR's win at No. 6 Queens, Simmons poured in 14 points in 17 minutes on 5-of-8 shooting and 4-for-5 from long range . . . had 11 games where he scored in double figures.

RS-Freshman (2017-18): Played in 26 games for the Bears including four starts…Darius averaged 6.5 points per game…had 35 assists…had 10 steals…averaged 16.5 minutes per game…posted a season high in points in the 79-64 victory against Mars Hill with 15…posted a season high in minutes with 31 in the 73-69 loss against Wingate.

Freshman (2016-17): Redshirt.

High School: Attended Word of God...lettered in basketball...team was ranked 17th in the nation.
