Aaron Brock

Aaron Brock is entering his fourth year as Lenoir-Rhyne University's Associate Head Track and Field Coach in 2016-17.

In his first season in 2013-14, Brock led the Bears' men's track team to a second-place finish in the inaugural conference championship.  Last year, LR placed second overall at the SAC Championships as well.

Brock is also an Assistant Coach on the Lenoir-Rhyne Football Team and has been on the Bears' staff since 2009.  Brock has been a coach of numerous positions and also serves as the team's Academic Coordinator.

Brock has been a part of four South Atlantic Conference Championships Teams (2011-14), three NCAA Division II Playoff squads (2012-14) and one team who advanced to the NCAA Division II Football National Championship in 2013.

Brock came to Lenoir-Rhyne after serving as Athletic Director for Three Rivers Public Schools in Michigan for three years (2006-09).  Before Three Rivers, Brock was Associate Athletics Director for Alma College in Alma, Mich., from 2003 to 2006. 

In addition to his administrative duties at Alma, Brock also served as the Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator (2002-06), Head Men’s Track & Field Coach (2002-03) and Admissions Athletic Coordinator and Assistant Football Coach (1999-02).

While at Alma College, Brock coached nine defensive players to All-MIAA honors and one track and field athlete advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championship.  Three additional track athletes earned conference championships and three more garnered all-league accolades.

Previous coaching stops include Cheyney (Pa.) Univ. (1999), a prior stint at Alma (1997-99) and St. Louis (1996) and Boyne City (Mich.) High Schools (1994).

Brock earned his bachelor of arts in exercise and health science in 1997 from Alma College and master's degree from Lenoir-Rhyne in 2012.  Brock and his wife, Amy, have two children:  Maggie and Andy.
