Fanny Courbot enters her second year at Lenoir-Rhyne University as a graduate assistant for academic support services. Courbot will assist Jordan Smith, Assistant AD for Academic Success, in the library for study hall.Â
Courbot joins Lenoir-Rhyne after graduating in May of 2023 from Lees-McRae College with a Bachelor of Arts in Busisness Administration. Before attending Lees-McRae, she was at Barton Community College, where she set school records in the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke. At Lees-McRae, Courbot won the 2022 CATSPY award and was named Swimmer of the Week several times from 2021 to 2023. She also broke records in the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke events there.Â
Courbot received her Associate's degree at Barton College. She is originally from Lyon, France and now resides in Hickory, NC. She is studying to obtain her Master of Sciene in Business Administration.Â
