Shiflet enters his third year as a volunteer assistant under Head Coach Tom Rees in 2018-19. His primary duties include developing the life and spiritual virtues of the players, liaising with the FCA, providing weekly motivational speeches, and helping with on court practice and matches.
Shiflet set numerous records for Asheboro High School before playing his collegiate tennis career at Pfeiffer University and University of North Carolina Greensboro. Shiflet is a certified PTR tennis instructor and taught world class students at Van Der Meer Tennis Academy on Hilton Head Island. He has been playing the game of tennis since the age of 9, and has been ranked as high as 2nd in the Men’s Open Division for NC.
Daniel, is happily married to Amber, they have two boys Rowen and Levi who also enjoy playing tennis.
