Chaffee enters her first season with the Lenoir-Rhyne Track and Field teams. Chaffee, a former track standout in 100m hurdles at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point holds the record in the 60m and 100m hurdles and was an All-American in the 100m hurdles.
She started her coaching career at UW-Stevens Point as assistant coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field (Hurdles, Sprints, Relays). Also helped coach a NCAA DIII Track & Field National Championship Qualifier in Men’s Heptathlon.
Chaffee then continued her coaching career at Carthage College as a Graduate Assistant coach for Women's Track & Field and Cross Country. Coached NCAA DIII Track & Field National Championship Qualifiers in Women’s Heptathlon and Women’s High Jump.
Most recently she was an an assistant coach for the Men's and Women's Track & Field Teams at Adrian College. She served as the recruiting coordinator and coached National Qualifiers in 110H and Men's 4x100m Relay.
She hold certifications from USATF as a Level 1 coach.
Chaffee received her bachelor's degree in Biology in 2013 from UW-Stevens Point. She also holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Carthage College in 2016.
